I absolutely love that album. Songs like History, Tabloid Junkie and Smile make that album worthwhile. Its very underrated, when its actually one of his best.
And You Are Not alone was my jam back in the 90′s.
I cant say that the album is better than Bad, but its still one of his best.

That album is excellent, pure genius. I don’t know why people hate on the album. I love every song on there. People really don’t like it because he was angry, which he had the right to be. I love Tabloid Junkie and Little Susie. The best album of 1995.
IT SUCKS
The music that was released from History was the very first set of songs I heard from Michael. You are not alone was the my favorite at the time, I was 7 or 5, but I loved it. The very first videos that I remember being obsessed with from him was “Scream” and “Jam”, which were from that album. It’s not my favorite but it’s like his 3rd best album. I still think “Thriller” is his best but “Bad” was just as good, I just love him more during “Thriller” because was so epic then.
2001 was “Invincible” that’s his most underrated album, just because it’s more R&B than Pop. It still went Mulit-platinum.
I love it. Earth Song, This Time Around, Stranger In Moscow & They Don’t Care About Us are the best tracks on there in my opinion. I *meant* to choose 2 but came up with 4 lol
Bad is my fave and Invincible is a close second to me.
Its totally amazing. Stranger in Moscow, Earth Song, They Don’t Care About Us, Childhood, Scream- all especially great songs. All of these are amazing videos as well- some of his best. Unfortunately, History didn’t make as much of an impact in America as it did in Europe for example.
i love it. my favorites are smile, stranger in moscow, come together, they don’t care about us, and a few others….
have you ever heard “Goin Places?” by the jacksons? i haven’t heard it until about a month ago, but try listening to it!
